About Maruti Industries
Founded in 2012 in Nashik, Maharashtra, Maruti Industries makes precision sheet metal enclosures, chassis and sub-assemblies for in-vitro diagnostic OEMs — and for manufacturers in other sectors who need the same discipline.
Our story
Maruti began as a sheet metal job-work shop. What changed the business was a decision to stop quoting parts and start owning outcomes — reviewing drawings for manufacturability before quoting, documenting every part properly, and building a shopfloor where the status of any job is visible without anyone having to ask.
Serving diagnostic OEMs accelerated that shift. Diagnostics demands tolerances, cleanliness and traceability that leave no room for informal working. Meeting that bar reshaped how we run the entire plant — and that same standard now serves every customer we take on, whatever their industry.
How we work
01 / OWNERSHIP
Every stage of every job has a single accountable person. Shared ownership means no ownership.
02 / VISIBILITY
A system-driven shopfloor where anyone can see where a part is and what it's waiting on — no chasing required.
03 / DOCUMENTATION
Drawing, BOM, route card, inspection plan and packing spec travel with every part, every time.
04 / PREVENTION
Manufacturability problems get caught at drawing review — before material is cut, not after.
Our journey
2012
Maruti Industries established in Vilholi, Nashik, as a precision sheet metal fabrication unit.
TODAY
ISO 9001:2015 certified and supplying precision sheet metal that India's diagnostic instrument makers have historically imported — at Indian cost and lead time, held to the same tolerance and finish.
NEXT
Working toward supplying diagnostic OEMs outside India — building the documentation depth, quality systems and batch-to-batch consistency an international supply chain expects before it qualifies a new source.
Leadership
Mechanical engineer leading Maruti's market, partnerships and growth strategy.
Mechanical engineer leading operations, design integration and shopfloor systems.
How we're organised
Maruti is not two founders and a floor. Each function below is held by a specific person who is accountable for it — which is why a question about a part gets an answer instead of a search.
OPERATIONS
Owns daily floor execution, drawing review and the decision on whether a job is manufacturable as drawn.
QUALITY SYSTEM & PDI
Owns the ISO 9001:2015 system, internal audits and corrective actions — and personally carries out pre-dispatch inspection, so final release sits outside the production line.
PRODUCTION
Owns the schedule, job-card release and stage-wise progress across the shopfloor.
QC GATE 1
Checks parts in-process against the drawing and samples after surface treatment — problems caught at the stage that caused them.
QC GATE 2
Carries out 100% final inspection against the part's inspection plan, then documented packing.
DESIGN
Owns CAD work, BOM and child-part structuring, and design-for-manufacture feedback on incoming drawings.
CUSTOMER INTERFACE
Owns enquiries, quotations, drawing intake and the customer relationship — the single point of contact from first drawing to repeat order.
MATERIAL & RECORDS
Owns incoming material control, stock against job cards, and the commercial records behind every dispatch.
